At the 2026 BEAM of Light Beach Ball, BEAM celebrated 40 years of serving Beaches-area families while honoring someone whose dedication has helped make that work flourish. Longtime Grace Garden leader Mary Ellen Waugh received BEAM’s 2026 Shining Light Award—and an unforgettable surprise recognizing her years of service.
