Additional Resources

BEAM can only assist individuals who live or work within our service area. However, there are additional resources available to you:

United Way 211: Provides resources for rent, mortgage, utilities, clothing, formula, diapers, and food pantries. You can reach them at 904-632-0600 or simply dial 211.

City of Jacksonville Social Services Division: Assists with rent, electricity, and mortgage support. The appointment line is open Monday through Friday at 9:30 a.m. You can contact them at 904-255-2469.

Northeast Florida Community Action Agency: Offers assistance with electricity and gas. They have a 24-hour hotline, or you can apply online at NFCAA.org. Call them at 904-362-8052.

Jewish Family and Community Services: Helps with rent, utilities, mortgage, and gas payments.

Catholic Charities: Provides assistance with rent and utilities.

Please note that referrals to Jewish Family and Community Services and Catholic Charities are directed through 211 only on Tuesdays.
